Our Global Biodiversity Project Portfolio
The places we are working to bring back, and who does the work.
This is the list of biodiversity projects C Level is involved in. Three of them, on three coastlines and landscapes, each with a different partner and a different job to do.
All three sit in Plan Vivo’s PV Nature pipeline, the list of projects working towards the Plan Vivo Foundation’s biodiversity standard. None of them is certified yet. No Plan Vivo Biodiversity Certificate has been issued anywhere in the world, and the first issuance is anticipated in the second quarter of 2028.
If you want to understand what these projects will eventually produce, and how a business can fund one now, read about voluntary biodiversity credits for business. This page is the portfolio. That page is the explanation.

- Special Projects
Bioestrela
regeneration hubs in the Serra da Estrela for new livelihoods and the return of a more fire resilient native forest
Solent Seascape Project
restoring the Solent Seascape for people, nature and climate
Bugoma to Budongo Wildlife Corridor
reconnecting two remnant reserves of high tropical rainforest, a storehouse of biodiversity and carbon and a last stronghold of the Chimpanzee
The projects
Three landscapes, three partners
Bioestrela, Portugal
Native forest restoration and wildfire resilience in the Serra da Estrela, with regeneration hubs that support new local livelihoods alongside the ecological work. Plan Vivo’s pipeline names C Level and URZE, the forestry association of the Serra da Estrela foothills, as the coordinators. This is the one project on the list that C Level helps run rather than support.
Solent Seascape, United Kingdom
Oyster reefs, seagrass meadows, saltmarsh and seabird habitat across 522 square kilometres of the Solent coast, one of the busiest stretches of water in Britain. The Blue Marine Foundation is the project coordinator and leads the partnership. C Level supports the project and does not coordinate it.
Bugoma-Budongo Wildlife Corridor, Uganda
Reconnecting 12,500 hectares of broken-up tropical rainforest between two reserves, in a landscape that is still a stronghold for endangered Eastern chimpanzees. The work is community-led restoration to join the habitat back together. ECOTRUST, the Environmental Conservation Trust for Uganda, coordinates the project. C Level supports it and does not coordinate it.
Where to go next
Carbon projects, and how to fund nature
C Level has been placing money into community forestry and land projects for 25 years. The biodiversity work above is the newer half of that. The carbon project portfolio is the part that is certified, issuing and available today.
To fund nature recovery through one of the projects on this page, start with voluntary biodiversity credits for business. It sets out what you would actually be buying, what you can honestly say about it, and what the money pays for while a project is still in development. Or talk to us about a specific landscape.
Nature Is Not a Commodity
We don’t sell carbon like a product. We connect you to living, breathing ecosystems—and the people who protect them. This is business with roots. Business that gives back.
